office informing him that
the borough will receive a
$150,000 Bikeway Trail grant.
MIDDLETOWN - Fairview
School in Middletown held its
annual Jump Rope For Heart
day on Monday. The annual
event is a fundraiser for the
American Heart Association.
MIDDLETOWN – The
Middle town Township Committee has filed a layoff plan
with the State Civil Service
Commission outlining the
potential elimination of 26
municipal positions, including
10 positions within the
township police department.
SEA BRIGHT – After
months of negotiation with the
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
and the New Jersey Fish and
Wildlife Service, the Borough of
Sea Bright is set to begin taking
on its feral cat population.
HOLMDEL – Holmdel Township has announced that there
are currently several condominiums for sale at the Orchards
and Palmer square affordable to low and moderate-income
households.
HIGHLANDS – Preliminary discussions took place between
Middletown Township and the Borough of Highlands regarding the possibility of merging police departments.

people were arrested on
charges of possessing marijuana
on Friday, February 11
in the area of the Spy House
park on Port Monmouth
Road.
