RUMSON

Rumson Country Day School, Bellevue Avenue and Ridge Road will hold its 41st annual Rummage Sale, "A Whale of a Sale", Saturday, April 24th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, April 25th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The school's Blake Gymnasium will be filled with a huge assortment of items for sale, including clothing, toys, children's and baby's items, sporting goods, books, and household goods. A Silent Auction will be held for the finest items, including antiques, china, crystal and furniture. All proceeds from the sale benefit the school's financial aid program. As a community service, the Monmouth County Medical Reserve Corps will also attend and offer free blood pressure screening and public health/emergency preparedness information.

SEA BRIGHT

The 9th Annual Keith McHeffey 3 Mile Fun Run will take place on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. Registration begins at 10 a.m. but pre-registration is recommended. Pre-register at www.raceforum.com/kdm/. The Mad Hatter (www.themadhatternj.com/), located just a few steps from the finish line at 10 Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright, has once again graciously offered to host the after race festivities. Please come out to participate in a fun race that supports a worthwhile mission.

The Sea Bright Recreation Committee kicks off its new Family Fun Friday program with a St. Patrick's Day celebration on Friday, March 12 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Sea Bright Gym (Borough Hall), Ocean Avenue, Sea Bright.

Families are invited to enjoy traditional Irish food and drink, create special crafts projects, play games, and dance to Irish music.

Admission is free if you wear green. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Family Fun Friday is a new program designed to build community and bring families together.
