Movie Screening To Benefit Bridge Of Books
A special screening of UP!, the animated Disney Pixar film, will be held at Clearview Cinemas, 36 White Street, Red Bank on Saturday, February 27 to benefit children in need.
Hosted by Bridge of Books, a non-profit organization that brings books to children who otherwise could not afford them, this special event promises to be a good time for the entire family.
The event will include face painting, games and goody bags, and a ticket auction, followed by a special screening of the award-winning movie.
Doors open at 9:15 a.m. and the film will begin at 10.
Tickets are $12.50 and are available in advance only by sending a check to "Bridge of Books" along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to P.O. Box 39, Rumson, NJ 07760.
The Bridge of Books Foundation is devoted to providing books to underprivileged and at-risk children, to support literacy and encourage a love of reading.
Bridge of Books distributes books through an extensive network of more than 100 New Jersey agencies and organizations.
