AH Burglary Suspects Apprehended
ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS - Two men who allegedly committed a string of residential burglaries in the borough have been apprehended, Police Chief Jerry Vasto reported in a press release.
Four burglaries occurred in the borough during September and October.
Working in conjunction with the Sayreville Police Department and the Old Bridge Police Department, officers apprehended Jennifer L. Frederickson, 21, of Atlantic Highlands, and Michael V. Lepre, 29, of Sayreville, on November 10. Detective Sergeant Thomas Stone charged each suspect with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property for each of the four homes burglarized.
The total of 12 counts against each defendant will be heard in Monmouth County Superior Court.
Frederickson and Lepre were remanded to the Middlesex County Correctional Facility in lieu of payment of $120,000 bail per defendant.
