Rumson Alerts Residents To Attempted Burglary
RUMSON - The borough police department is a residential burglary which occurred on Monday, September 21, 2009 at approximately 5 p.m. in the area of Ward Ave.
The suspects attempted to gain entry to a home which was occupied.
The suspect first rang the front doorbell and then went to the rear of the residence and tried a sliding glass door. The suspects were then confronted by a family member and then fled the area without any further incident.
The suspects are described as a black male and a black female. They left the area in a small gray vehicle.
