About Town

FAIR HAVEN

The Church of Nativity on the corner of Hance Ave. and Ridge Rd. will dedicate its new commemorative garden on Sunday, June 21 at 10:30 a.m. Parishioners and friends have purchased bricks to remember loved ones or to acknowledge special occasions such as baptisms and weddings.

The installation of the patio garden began mid June and has the capacity to hold about 2,000 bricks.

LITTLE SILVER

The students at Markham Place and Point Road Schools will start the next school year off with $47,386 worth of new equipment, thanks to grants from the Education Foundation of Little Silver.

Requests were submitted by teachers and administrators of both schools for the best and latest technological equipment such as ELMO document cameras, digital cameras, Senteo's, and SMART boards.

The Grants and Gifts awarded for the 2009-10 academic year benefit students across all grades and multiple subject areas, and further support our mission to enhance the educational experience of Little Silver students through technology.
