LITTLE SILVER - On Friday afternoon January 23rd, the community gathered in the gymnasium of Markham Place Middle School to honor a man who spent 19 years of his life as the school's principal and served as a mentor to the students of Little Silver.

MIDDLETOWN - On Friday January 23, 2009, police officers from the Middletown Township Police Department arrested two female employees at a Route 35 massage parlor and charged them with prostitution and promoting prostitution.

FAIR HAVEN - Thomas Gilmour stepped down from his position on the Fair Haven Council effective December 31, 2008 citing increased demands at work and a family illness that was preventing him from devoting the necessary time to the council.
