Former State Senator To Jail For
Three Years John A. Lynch used two Red Bank-based companies for illegal transactions
JOHN A. LYNCH, who had served in the state Senate for 20 years, is heading for federal prison for more than three years, according to the United States Attorney's Office, in Newark. Lynch, 67, was sentenced on Tuesday in federal court in Newark to 39 months in prison for his guilty pleas earlier this fall to using his position as an elected official to coax illicit bribes from businesses entities seeking state government assistance for projects.

Borough Administrator Resigns In Fair Haven
FAIR HAVEN - After serving for three-and-a-half years as Borough Administrator, Julie Horner-Keizer officially announced her resignation to the mayor and council on Dec.13, effective Jan. 12. "It's been an interesting experience. Some good, some bad, but overall I like to think I'm leaving it better than I found it," she said about her time in the borough. |
